The MILO Have-A-Go program is a fun, introductory cricket program for girls and boys aged 5 - 10 years. The program runs for 12 weeks at cricket clubs and some schools throughout Victoria during each cricket season. The aim of the program is to introduce children to cricket skills and activities in a structured manner with an emphasis on fun. The program covers a range of fundamental motor skills important to childhood development - hitting a ball, catching, throwing, running, stopping, balance and co-ordination. It also caters for varying individual skill and age levels. In addition it involves important social skills including teamwork, co-operation, communication, and learning how to approach winning and losing. For a joining fee you also get some great giveaways, which this year are - Bat, Ball, T-Shirt, Cricket Tattoos, Bucket Hat, CD Rom, MILO Booklet and a Certificate.
